New YorkRound One Entertainment, a $1 billion company that operates more than 100 family-friendly, multi-entertainment activity locations in Japan, is opening its first New York location.

RKF has arranged a lease for Round One to open a new location at Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown, N.Y., a 45,000-square-foot center that includes a mix of activities such as karaoke, bowling, billiards, ping pong and darts, as well as a food and beverage area. RKF Executive Vice President David Friedman, based in the firm’s San Francisco office, has handled Round One’s expansion to date.

“Round One offers an entertainment experience for the whole family that rivals many regional amusement parks, but actively seeks out the best locations at shopping malls and regional retail centers to reach their target customers in each market,” said Friedman in a statement.

Galleria at Crystal Run is located just 60 minutes outside of New York City, and is the premier retail destination in Orange County, N.Y. The center is home to retailers such as AMC Metroplex 16 and a plethora of national brands and major department stores.
