Rolls-Royce North America will move its headquarters and occupy 20,000 square feet at 1900 Reston Metro Plaza, a Class A, 373,479-square foot office tower in Reston, Va. The company will relocate from Reston Town Center, located at 1875 Explorer St., 2 miles east and also in Reston, in early 2020.

Completed in 2017 and designed by architect Helmut Jahn, 1900 Reston Metro Plaza offers floorplans ranging from 13,409 to 28,600 square feet and includes almost 8,500 square feet of retail, per Yardi Matrix data. The 16-story building rises within Reston Station, the 40-acre mixed-use, transit-oriented development owned and managed by Comstock Holding Cos. Amenities feature several rooftop spaces with catering kitchens, a fitness center, a multi-room conference facility and a two-story glass lobby. Google and Spaces have also inked leases for space at the LEED Silver-certified building.

Rolls-Royce’s future corporate home is adjacent to the Dulles Corridor and close to Wiehle Reston-East, Reston’s first Silver Line metro station. Dulles International Airport is roughly 7 miles west, while downtown Washington, D.C., is 21 miles east. The property is surrounded by various dining and shopping options part of Reston Station.

In September, Comstock signed an anchor tenant at another office tower part of Reston Station. Neustar will occupy 100,000 square feet at the upcoming building, slated for delivery in 2020.
