Los Angeles—JLL represented Rolling Greens in a new 64,000-square-foot lease at 1005 Mateo St. in Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. This will be the third and largest retail store scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017. David Brandt of Lee & Associates represented the landlord, while JLL’s Paul Park represented the tenant.

“Rolling Greens wanted a location that was filled with hip, creative energy,” said Park in prepared remarks. “This site is ideal with its large lot and rustic structures that lends itself to an artistic use.”

Located just off Interstate 10, the old scrap metal yard will feature greenhouses, gardens, arrangement bars and home accessories.  According to JLL’s Office Insight Report, the Arts District currently has about 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate in the pipeline targeted for office space conversion.
