Lansco’s Robin Abrams Joins Eastern Consolidated

Robin Abrams, Vice Chairman & Principal

Eastern Consolidated has hired real estate veteran Robin Abrams as its new vice chairman of retail & principal. She is bringing along her team of brokers in the retail leasing division Abrams Retail Strategies. The team consists of Lisa Rosenthal, Herman Glaswand and Rebecca Olshan. They will begin their new jobs after Memorial Day.

Abrams joins Eastern Cosolidated after 38 years at Lansco Corp., where she most recently served as vice chairman & principal. Her responsibilities included overseeing advisory services for leasing and consulting tenant representation, retail project development and agency leasing for landlords, market valuation, appraisal and arbitration, strategic planning, partner sourcing in Canada, Europe and Latin America, recruiting, training and mentoring retail brokers.

During her career, Abrams worked with a diverse portfolio of clients from the retail and fashion industry, including brick-and-mortar stores, national chains, major banks, home and design tenants, as well as with big-name retailers such as VF Corp., Kellwood, Vince, Rebecca Taylor, 7 Jeans, Splendid, Donna Karan, Anya Hindmarch, Agent Provocateur, Brora and Lumas. Notable transactions included the leasing of the entire 601 Madison Ave. to Emporio Armani and a 54,000-square-foot lease to Uniqlo at 665 Fifth Ave.

She also served as a chairperson of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Retail Leasing Committee between 2003 and 2007, and is currently on the board of directors for REBNY’s Commercial Division. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
