Richmond—Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners LLC sold the 243-key full-service Richmond Marriott Short Pump for $38.5 million to FPLC Richmond LLC, a partnership of regional investors.

Commonwealth Lodging Management, the company’s hotel management affiliate, will continue to operate the hotel under the new ownership. Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, indoor pool, fitness center and over 7,000 square feet of venue space.

Lingerfelt purchased the former Richmond Marriott West in June 2014. The hotel at 4240 Dominion Blvd. in Glen Allen, Va. had first opened its doors in 2001. In October 2015, Commonwealth Lodging completed a more than $11 million renovation.

The property is located just off I-64 and I-295, with easy access to Short Pump Town Center and the University of Richmond.
