Residence Inn by Marriott Breaks Ground in Houston
The 182-key hotel broke ground near the Texas Medical Center. Moody National Hospitality Management will be responsible for managing the 5,000-square-foot property.

Moody National Companies—a full-service commercial real estate company—broke ground on the Residence Inn by Marriott in Houston.
The 182-key hotel is located at 7807 Kirby Drive. The Texas Medical Center and the NRG Stadium are both close by and will serve as its primary demand generators. Spread across a 5,000-square-foot site, the 16-story property will include a 4.5-story parking garage and four meeting spaces.
Mitchell Carlson Stone Architects designed the building and Arch-Con handed general contracting duties. Moody National Hospitality Management will manage ongoing operations. Within the Texas Medical Center submarket, Moody has managed several hotels including the Residence Inn by Marriott, the Courtyard by Marriott, the Springhill Suites by Marriott, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and the Moody Manor.
The project is expected to be completed by 2019.
