Recently Completed East Dallas Warehouse Lands Tenant
A Franklin, Mass.-based company specialized in warehousing, transportation, distribution and fulfillment solutions leased more than 100,000 square feet in Garland, Texas.

Barrett Distribution Centers, a warehousing, transportation, distribution and fulfillment solutions firm, has signed a 115,000-square-foot lease at Garland Logistics Center in Garland, Texas. The new lease brings the Franklin, Mass.-based company’s footprint to more than 3 million square feet nationwide.
Located on 25 acres at 3800 Leon Road, the 494,000-square-foot Garland Logistics Center features two grade-level and 96 dock-high loading doors, as well as more than 450 parking spaces. According to Yardi Matrix data, IDI Logistics delivered the facility this year with the help of a $16.2 million construction loan from U.S. Bank and selected NAI Robert Lynn to handle the leasing assignment. The property is situated approximately one mile from Interstate 635 and four miles from Interstate 30.
Stephen Cooper and Rick Medinis with NAI Robert Lynn negotiated the lease agreement on behalf of the landlord, while Joe Whitmer and Brian McKenzie at Transwestern represented the tenant.
Earlier this year, IDI Logistics teamed up with JP Morgan Asset Management to advise Industrial Properties America III LLC in the $108.6 million refinancing of a 2.2 million-square-foot national industrial portfolio.
