Rattner Joins Konover South as VP, Acquisitions

Retail developer Konover South, L.L.C. has named David Rattner as vice president of acquisition. His primary focus will be sourcing grocery and retail-anchored shopping centers and identifying new geographic market opportunities nationwide.

A two-decade veteran in retail and commercial investment, Rattner previously served as vice president of development for North American Properties as well as working in development with CBL & Associates. Throughout his career, Rattner has sourced and developed nearly four million square feet of retail and mixed-use projects and in 2008 founded Blue Sky Holdings, a private real estate investment advisory firm focusing on retail and multi-family acquisitions.

Konover principal David Coppa said that he is confident of transacting an increased number of marketplace opportunities as a result of hiring Rattner.

Based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, Konover South is an acquisition, development and management firm operating t hroughout the southeastern United States. It is an affiliate of The Simon Konover Co., which has developed or acquired more than 140 shopping centers totaling 15 million square feet since 1959.
