Quorum Adds 3 to Management Portfolio
All hotels are located close to major universities.

Dallas—Quorum Hotels & Resorts has recently added three new hotels to the company’s management portfolio.
The 174-key Hilton Lexington Suites is located in Lexington, Ky., in close proximity to the University of Kentucky and the Lexington Green Shopping Mall. The property will be renovated in the next 12 to 16 months and will be converted into an Embassy Suites upon completion.
The 130-key Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown/The Vista is the most recent hotel to open in the arts and entertainment district of The Vista in downtown Columbia, S.C. In addition, the asset is situated within walking distance from the University of South Carolina.
Marriott’s 99-key Courtyard Provo in Provo, Utah, is situated next to the Brigham Young University campus and within easy reach of three retail destinations—Provo Towne Centre, The Shops at Riverwoods and University Mall.
“We are actively seeking to add well-branded, select service properties within 3 miles of major universities. We have four more in our pipeline and hope to double that number in the next 60 days,” Walt Peseski, Quorum’s VP of development, said in prepared remarks. Quorum’s services portfolio currently exceeds $1 billion in value.
