The William Warren Group (WWG), a privately held real estate company that operates the StorQuest Self Storage brand, continues to increase its presence in Phoenix. The firm has recently acquired a 3.17-acre parcel of land where it plans to build a new 100,000-square-foot self-storage facility and a small retail office.

StorQuestThe site is located along Seventh St. and near the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The property was acquired for $3.05 million from the Gary D. and Kathleen Steele Trust of Phoenix. WWG was represented in the deal by Executive Vice President Larry Ortega and Vice President Daniel Ortega, both with Colliers International.

The new acquisition is in line with the firm’s expansion strategy, which entails growing to 150 facilities through multiple acquisitions, third-party management and a new national development program. In May, WWG also acquired the 52,000-square-foot Tempe Warner Self Storage building in Tempe, Ariz. The facility is located at 1835 E. Warner Road and was previously managed and branded as a US Storage Center facility.
