ProLogis Signs 2 Build-to-Suit Agreements with Home Depot

ProLogis has signed two build-to-suit lease agreements with Home Depot, the company announced. ProLogis is currently developing a distribution center for Home Depot in Redlands, Calif., at ProLogis Park Redlands, totaling approximately 658,000 square feet, and another 20 miles north of Cincinnati in Monroe, Ohio at ProLogis Park Corridor 75, also totaling approximately 658,000 square feet.  The Redlands facility is located in Inland Empire region at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Highway 30. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2009. ProLogis Park Corridor 75 is a 420-acre, master-planned industrial park under construction at the intersection of Interstate 75 and State Route 63 in Monroe. Located near major national highway systems and intermodal facilities, the warehouse will serve as a regional distribution center. Construction is scheduled to be completed during the fourth quarter of this year. ProLogis currently owns, manages and operates 88 distribution centers for a total of 30 million square feet in the Inland Empire. “Both Cincinnati and Southern California are strategic distribution markets and we’re extremely pleased to meet our customer’s needs in these locations,” Larry Harmsen, ProLogis managing director and North American head of capital deployment said in a release. “We enjoy working with Home Depot in multiple markets throughout North America.”
