Reserve Decatur Apartment Community

The Praedium Group acquired an apartment community in Atlanta’s Decatur neighborhood. Reserve Decatur is a 298-unit property built in 2016, situated between downtown Decatur and the Emory/Clifton Corridor.

The community comprises 177 one-bedroom, 99 two-bedroom and 22 three-bedroom units, with size ranging from 620 to 1,460 square feet. In-unit amenities include nine-foot ceilings, Bluetooth sound systems, vinyl plank flooring, as well as a few eco-friendly improvements to the plumbing and windows. The property is undergoing LEED certification. Common amenities include a conference room, cyber café, a pool with outdoor kitchen and game and rooftop lounge.

Location benefits

Situated at 2600 Milscott Drive, Reserve Decatur offers its residents immediate access to Patel Plaza, a shopping mall minutes away from the property, with plentiful retail and dining options. Along N. Decatur Road, there are multiple shops and restaurants. The DeKalb Medical hospital is ten minutes away, as is Emory University. Scott Boulevard provides easy access to downtown Atlanta and also connects to Interstate 295, offering access to the greater metropolitan area.

“Demand for housing such as Reserve Decatur will continue to be bolstered by Atlanta’s growing population, which has exceeded the national average since 2010, and per the U.S. Census Bureau, is expected to do so over the next five years,” said Kelsey Durels, associate of the Praedium Group, in a prepared statement.
