Silver Spring, Md.—Rockwood Capital and Petrie Richardson Ventures (PRV) recently opened a Dave & Buster’s venue at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring. The 40,980-square-foot “Eat, Drink, Play and Watch” venue is PRV’s second in the region, and the largest retail tenant at Ellsworth Place.

“Dave & Buster’s typifies how food, entertainment and socializing goes hand-in-hand with traditional retail,” said Terry Richardson, president & COO of PRV.

PRV’s Ellsworth Place is a 350,000-square-foot indoor retail center. Its tenants include Burlington Coat Factory, Not Your Average Joe’s, Guitar Center, Marshalls, Michaels, Ross and T.J. Maxx.

In addition to gaming at Dave & Buster’s, Ellsworth Place’s future tenant Guitar Center plans on incorporating live in-store events. Most recently, Ellsworth place announced the openings of Rue 21, Kung Fu Tea and Shoe City, adding to the already wide range of retail options available to shoppers.

PRV revitalizes dated shopping centers, but also builds retail centers from the ground up. Chairman Walt Petrie founded PRV in 2000, and the firm currently operates 1919 West Street, Centre at Forestville, The Centre at Golden Ring, Woodmore Towne Centre at Glenarden and Ellsworth Place.
