Pei Wei signed a 16,269-square-foot office lease at Las Colinas Highlands, a 200,000-square-foot building in Irving, Texas. The Pan-Asian restaurant chain will relocate its corporate headquarters from Scottsdale, Ariz. The seven-story property is now 27.9 percent vacant.

Located at 6191 N. State Highway 161, the asset sits at the intersection of President George Bush Turnpike and John W. Carpenter Freeway and less than two miles from MacArthur Park shopping center. Tenants include Lufthansa Systems and Informa Exhibitions.

JLL’s International Director Paul Whitman and Associate Harrison Burt represented the tenant in the lease negotiation, while Managing Director Judal Smith negotiated an economic incentive relocation package. Cawley Partners’ Kristi Waddell, Addie Ludwig and Jeremy Duggins negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord—Cawley Management.

“Not only is Dallas-Fort Worth one of the fastest growing and economically sound regions in the country, but we’re also home to Pei Wei’s largest concentration of storefronts,” Whitman said in prepared remarks. “Our state’s business-friendly environment, accessible resources and deep labor pool align with their long-term plans for future success.”

Earlier this month, JLL appointed David Berzina as vice president within the Fort Worth office.
