Los Angeles—Overton Moore Properties has announced the groundbreaking of a Class A industrial development project at The Point @ Simi Valley Business Center. The site is located in close proximity to Interstate 118 and approximately 10 minutes from the San Fernando Valley.

The project will bring four buildings totaling approximately 141,000 square feet. The development will feature a modern design with 26-28′ clear heights, 120′ minimum truck courts and ESFR sprinkler systems.

“Initial interest has been strong, and we believe the project will be well received by the brokerage and user community,” OMP’s CEO, Timur Tecimer, said in prepared remarks.

Last year in October, CBRE’s Bennett Robinson brokered the transaction of the property on behalf of both OMP and the seller, The Coca Cola Co. Robinson will also be in charge of handling the sale and leasing of the new buildings. The HPA-designed project will have Millie & Severson as general contractor.

Construction is slated for completion by April 2017.
