Office Evolution has signed a 7,721-square-foot office lease at Travelers Cos.’ Lincoln Center, a 217,695-square-foot Class B office building in Tampa, Fla. The owner picked up the asset in a $21.5 million sale in early 1998, according to Yardi Matrix. The lease comes on the heels of the firm’s recently inked deal for more than 8,000 square feet of new coworking space in Jacksonvile, Fla.

Located at 5401 W. Kennedy Blvd., the 10-story Lincoln Center sits at the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard and Interstate 275, just across the bay from St. Petersburg. Positioned within Tampa’s busy Westshore office submarket, the property is also within half a mile of WestShore Plaza, a 1.1 million-square-foot regional shopping mall. In 2015, Travelers renovated Lincoln Center, which was built in 1975. The office asset is home to a mix of tenants including Mutual of Omaha Bank, Omni Wealth Advisors, CorVel and Rent Solutions, per Yardi Matrix data.

“We are delighted to have the first Tampa area Office Evolution as a tenant in the Lincoln Center, which will be a great location for Office Evolution members,” said Katy Alderman, vice president of management services for Redstone Commercial—the building’s property management company—in a prepared statement. “Members will enjoy a beautiful location on Old Tampa Bay, an onsite lounge and mini-market, as well as easy access to major freeways, the airport and nearby restaurants, retail shopping and hotels.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s John Fish and Scott Garlick represented Office Evolution in the lease transaction.
