Nidec Shimpo, the supplier of drive technology and gearing solutions, sold its 24,428-square-foot headquarters in Itasca, Ill., and moved to a new facility in Glendale Heights, Ill. NAI Hiffman, which recently closed on another office deal in Hoffman Estates, Ill., represented the seller in the transaction. Lee & Associates negotiated on behalf of the buyer, The Finer Line, a retailer of awards and promotional products.
Significant Office Component
The building is located at 1701 Glenlake Ave., providing easy access to Interstate 290. The property offers 6,167 square feet of office space, two interior docks with levelers, one drive-in door, 19-foot heights and parking for 51 vehicles.
The immediate neighbors are Priority Wire & Cable and QMI Security Solutions. The property is part of a dynamic business area, which is home to several corporations such as Nestle, Systematics and Fellowes.
Executive Vice President Joe Bronson and Associate Josh Will from NAI Hiffman were part of the seller’s broker team, while Senior Vice President Nick Eboli from Lee & Associates represented the buyer. Â
