NH Hotel Group Opens 2 Five-Star Properties in Spain
After the new additions, the company's Spanish portfolio comprises 22 hotels.

Madrid and Barcelona, Spain—NH Collection continues to expand its international presence with two new five-star hotels in Spain. The former Casa Suecia in Madrid becomes NH Collection Suecia and the Rambla de Catalunya welcomes NH Collection Gran Hotel Calderón.
Both properties, the 123-key Suecia and the 255-key Gran Hotel Calderón, are located in landmark buildings in the city center and offers amenities such as fitness rooms, panoramic views of the city from the rooms on the upper floors, restaurants and bars, spacious lofts complete with bathrooms and airy lounges. The NH Collection Gran Hotel Calderón also features a rooftop terrace and swimming pool with 360 degree views of the city.
With the addition of the new properties, NH Hotel Group consolidates the presence of its brand in Spain, where it has 22 of the 67 NH Collection hotels that the company operates throughout the world. Another eight properties will be added globally between 2016 and 2018, across Mexico, Chile, France, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Spain.
