NGKF Taps Top Atlanta Broker as Executive Managing Director

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has announced the appointment of  top-producing broker, veteran tenant representation and investment sales advisor Steve Morgan. He will serve as executive managing director, bringing more than 35 years of background in commercial real estate consulting, lease negotiation, mergers, acquisitions and workplace strategies.

Prior to being appointed, Morgan was the principal of Avison Young for five years and before that he worked with Grubb and Ellis for a decade –prior to the company’s merger with NGKF-. He also served in various leadership and management roles at the Coca-Cola Co. and Realty Advisors, the brokerage wing of Credit Suisse First Boston. Morgan earned his undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Steve is one of the most sought-after brokers in metro Atlanta and a true heavy-hitter,” Brett Hunsaker, executive vice president & regional managing director at NGKF, said in a prepared statement.

The appointment comes at a time where Atlanta’s overall vacancy dropped to 16 percent, the lowest rate since 2002, according to a recent NGKF office market report.
