Portland, Ore.—A new all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott has opened in Hillsboro. The hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Brookwood Parkway Hotel Development LLC and managed by an affiliate of Huntington Hotel Group of Irving, Texas.

Residence Inn Portland Hillsboro/Brookwood is located at 3160 NE. Brookwood Parkway, 4 miles from downtown Hillsboro, one and a half miles from the Hillsboro Airport and 26 miles from the Portland International Airport. The location places the hotel close to the Intel campuses, Nike Headquarters, the Oregon Zoo, MAX transit station, Wine Tours and Ron Tonkin Field—home of the Hillsboro Hops.

“We are pleased with the continued growth of Residence Inn hotels in the Hillsboro area,” said Diane Mayer, vice president & global brand manager at Residence Inn. “When on the road for an extended period, our guests need space to spread out, maintain their life’s pace and restore their energy to help them maintain a healthy balance and routine while traveling. This new hotel offers them a seamless blend of modern style and functionality that allows them to settle in and thrive.”

Guests at the hotel can choose from 146 studios and one-bedroom suites, each designed with a fully equipped kitchen featuring residential-sized appliances. Furthermore, the hotel offers a full-service bar—31 Sixty—that features locally crafted beers on tap and an outdoor patio area with multiple fire pits, a meeting room, a business center and an indoor swimming pool. Marriott’s new MVP Guest Entertainment Technology streams Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora and Crackle.
