New Chief Revenue Officer Joins Auction.com

The nation’s leading online real estate marketplace expands its team with a new chief revenue officer. Norman Happ, the latest talent joining the Auction.com LLC team, will work out of the Silicon Valley office and report to General Manager Gordon Smith of the company’s commercial real estate division.

“Norm brings an impressive background as a global sales leader in the financial and technology sectors and has expertly leveraged innovation and entrepreneurial success while working with several Fortune 500 organizations,” said Smith in a prepared statement. “I’m confident that his leadership and expertise will be instrumental in helping us focus our energies appropriately so that we can effectively capitalize on the huge market opportunity we have before us.”

Happ previously worked at Intuit, serving as go-to-market vice president overseeing sales, marketing and business development within the Small Business Division. His professional background includes time serving as vice president of sales and director of sales and support across SMB products and vice president of inside sales at H&R Block.

He also spent several years at innovative technology firms, including computer software solutions company Anachron as co-founder and vice president. He is a member of and an investor for Sand Hill Angels, an investing and advising group dedicated to the formation and growth of technology startup companies.
