KLNB LLC has hired Marc Menick as its new president & chief operations officer, effective June 12, 2017. The newly vested executive will replace Andrew Georgelakos, who has been with the company for more than 17 years. In his new position, Menick will oversee KLNB’s operations, including tenant and landlord representation, leasing, investment sales, property management, financing and appraisal and valuation services.

“Marc knows the dynamics of the Washington-Baltimore real estate market and he’s a collaborator who will not only help our team perpetuate the initiatives we’ve already put in place but also come up with new initiatives that will lead KLNB into the next phase of business growth,” Georgelakos said in a prepared statement.

Prior to joining KLNB, Menick served as vice president of leasing at Peterson Cos., where he was responsible for the firm’s six million-square-foot retail, dining and entertainment portfolio. Some of his most representative deals include the leasing and merchandising efforts of National Harbor, Fairfax Corner, the RIO Washingtonian Center, Downtown Silver Spring and Virginia Gateway. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
