Chicago—NAI Hiffman recently announced the sale of 830 W. 40th St., a 74,997-square-foot industrial property in Chicago. Chris Gary and Joe Bronson, both executive vice presidents with NAI Hiffman, represented the buyer, Hog Shed Ventures LLC. George Maragos, Mitch Adams and Nicole Mnetone of CBRE represented the seller, VK 830 W. 40TH LLC.

The building will be the home of Frost Lighting, which is a full-service event production company.

The property features 9,150 square feet of office space, 160 parking spaces, with an option to expand, 18-foot clear ceiling height, and three interior loading docks. Situated on a 5-acre lot, the industrial asset is just minutes away from nearby transportation routes, including I-90, I-94 and the Stevenson Expressway.

“The building really suits our company’s growth…we had outgrown our prior location on Goose Island, especially in terms of parking,” David Kelly, president of Frost Lighting, said in a statement.
