Modern Office Furniture’s Zig Zag sofa is a contemporary design piece that also sits five people and can be rearranged into separate configurations. Whether a space is more suited to individual chairs or a sectional-type layout, the couch’s combination of corner chairs and backless benches allow for many different combinations and can fit in awkward corners.

Upholstered in a commercially rated black tufted vinyl that gives the impression of leather, the chairs are upholstered on all sides for durability and flexibility of placement in a room. The tufted aspect of the sofa enforces the illusion of leather furniture without pesky buttons that are traditionally sewn into tufted leather but often pop off and get lost, especially in high-traffic commercial use.

The sofa comes fully assembled, and arrives as a package made of up of three corner chairs and two backless benches. Each chair has a 250-pound weight capacity, and seat cushions are made of three inches of durable foam layered over a sturdy plywood inner box frame.

Within a square area of 87 inches by 87 inches, the possibilities are almost endless for configurations and design schemes, and the chairs and benches easily come apart for rearranging. If more seating arrangements are desired, the company also offers accompanying pieces that seamlessly blend and combine with the existing sofa, like an armless chair, a two-seat loveseat or a three- or four-seat standalone sofa.

The product is rated for use in commercial settings by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA).
