Marriott to Open Courtyard IA Hotel
The company continues to expand its Courtyard branded portfolio with the addition of the 127-key and four-suite property in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Marriott International is set to open Courtyard by Marriott Omaha East/Council Bluffs, a 131-key hotel in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Imagine Resorts and Hotels Inc. will operate the property as a Marriott franchise.
Located at 2501 Bass Pro Drive, the hotel offers convenient access to various entertainment venues including the Henry Doorly Zoo, the Mid-America Center, the Iowa West Field House and the Harrah’s. Additional attractions include Ameristar Casino, Horseshow Casino and CenturyLink Center. The Lincoln Airport is 60 miles southwest.
The four-story property will include 127 keys and four suites, as well as 943 square feet of meeting space for up to 74 people. Courtyard by Marriott Omaha East/Council Bluffs is set to offer common-area amenities such as a swimming pool, a fitness center, a business center, a boardroom, guest laundry and a car rental service.
In June, the company developed a 192-key Courtyard property close to Denver Airport managed by Stonebridge Cos.
