Orlando—Margaritaville has recently unveiled details and renderings for their new 187-key hotel in Margaritaville Resort Orlando, a resort community located in Kissimmee, Fla.

The images showcase a lobby with a coastal-luxe design and signature Margaritaville décor elements, including a large blue flip-flop and a chandelier made from upside-down margarita glasses. Additional highlights include bamboo furnishings surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees.

“We look forward to creating a one-of-a-kind setting where guests can escape the everyday (…), this will start with our arrival process, welcoming guests in a way that immediately puts them into the Margaritaville state of mind,” said James Bagley, project developer of Margaritaville Resort Orlando, in prepared remarks.

In addition to the guestrooms, the resort will provide 300 timeshare units and 1,000 Margaritaville-inspired vacation homes. The resort-community will boast a wide range of amenities and unique features such as a water park, wellness center, fitness trails, a water taxi system and a freshwater lagoon that will have a designated beach area with cabanas. Phase one of the project is scheduled for completion by late 2017.

Developing company Encore Capital Management recently announced it has exceeded its projected sales during the initial phase of construction, closing out phase one with more than 250 reservations and deposits.
