Marcus & Millichap Arranges Texas Storage Sale
The firm’s Fort Worth-based brokerage group facilitated the sale of a 209-unit boat and RV storage facility.

Karr Self Storage group of Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of A Plus Boat Club, a 60,856-square-foot storage facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Senior Vice President Brandon Karr and Senior Associate Danny Cunningham, based in Fort Worth, represented the seller, a private partnership, and worked on behalf of the buyer, a self storage operator in Denver. Earlier this year, the duo also brokered the sale of a 46,982-square-foot facility in Little Rock, Ark.
Constructed in 1990, the storage asset comprises 209 non-climate-controlled, drive-up boat and RV storage spaces, ranging from 200 to 352 square feet. Other characteristics of the facility include garage-style roll-up doors, 24-hour video surveillance, personalized key-pad gated entry and perimeter fencing and lighting.
The facility is located at 8955 Boat Club Road, which grants visibility to approximately 12,000 vehicles per day. The asset is situated near Eagle Mountain Lake, a tourist destination with the opportunity for water skiing, fishing, boating and wakeboarding.
