This addition will bring the total number of on-site hotel rooms at Universal Orlando to 6,200, when combined with the 400-key expansion of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort opening in 2017.

“We are excited to continue our hotel growth in Orlando with our partners at Comcast/NBC Universal,” said Jonathan Tisch, chairman & CEO of Loews Hotels, in prepared remarks. “For nearly two decades, we have had the privilege of developing distinctive hotels that are attractions unto themselves in one of the world’s top resort destinations.”

The hotel is designed with the connected and value-savvy traveler in mind. The guest room experience embraces a serene, modern environment with refreshing, natural colors of sea blue and rose and will include floor-to-ceiling windows to offer views of Universal Orlando.

Becoming the destination’s sixth hotel, the Aventura will join the Sapphire Falls Resort, Royal Pacific Resort, Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel and Cabana Bay Beach.

Reservations for the new hotel will be accepted starting in early 2017.
