Lerner Enterprises, one of  Washington, D.C.’s largest private real estate developers, has started construction on Windmill Parc at Dulles Town Center. This new luxury apartment home community will open in phases, with the first residents moving in next year.

Windmill Parc at Dulles Town Center will be located at the intersection of City Center and Nokes boulevards, within Dulles Town Center, in Dulles, Loudoun County, Va. The community will include 433 residential units in 18 buildings scattered over 19.4 acres of land.

Residents will be able to choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Apartment amenities include walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, washers and dryers in each home, spa-inspired bathrooms and much more. Residents will also enjoy such community amenities as a resort-style swimming pool and spa with sundeck, a luxurious LEED Gold-certified clubhouse, a car wash station, state-of-the-art fitness centers, walking and bike paths,  and picnic pavilions.

Windmill Parc will provide one of the first electric car-charging stations in Loudoun County. Other green features include HVAC systems, window and door selections, wall insulation systems that provide increased energy efficiency and plumbing fixtures that will reduce water consumption. The project’s architect is Torti Gallas and Partners, of Silver Spring; Foulger-Pratt Contracting of Rockville has been selected as the general contractor.

“Given the overwhelming success of our first two apartment home communities, Remington and Parc Dulles at Dulles Town Center, we are excited to continue our expansion of premier residential offerings within Dulles Town Center,” Mark Lerner, a principal of Lerner, said in a statement for the press. “Windmill Parc has been designed with the Loudoun County lifestyle in mind, and our future residents will appreciate the many fine details that have been included in our new community.”

Windmill Parc is part of Dulles Town Center, a 554-acre commercial, residential, retail and office master-planned development. Earlier this month, Rockville-based Lerner also started work on a 45,000-square-foot Regal Stadium 10 & RPX theater. It is scheduled to open in 2014.
