Onyx Equities and Garrison Investment Group have welcomed DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Giblin to the tenant roster of 61 S. Paramus Road in Paramus, N.J. The law firm signed an 11-year lease to occupy 42,000 square feet on the property’s second floor, relocating its headquarters from Glenpointe Centre West in Teaneck, N.J.

Located at the confluence of Garden State Parkway and routes 4 and 17, the asset sits 20 miles of Midtown Manhattan. Retailers, eateries, regional malls and accommodation options are all within its immediate vicinity.

The Class A, 286,126-square-foot office building spreads across five stories. Amenities include efficient floorplates, on-site cafe and security. Additionally, the landlord plans to launch a multimillion-dollar capital improvement program that will add new amenities and services to the property.

JLL Executive Managing Director Frank Recine and Associate Nicolas DeCotiis represented the tenant in the transaction. Last year, the company inked the largest lease in the state. In that deal, Onyx Equities Senior Vice President of Leasing Adam Karafiol acted on behalf of the tenant.
