They work with any lighting type, including LED, and can be installed in retrofit and new construction. They have a 5 A electronic ballast rating, meet the NEMA 410 standard and are Title 20 compliant. They can manage lighting in partitioned bathrooms, open areas with cubicles, storage rooms and libraries. Adjustable features include PIR sensitivity, time delay (15 seconds to 30 minutes) and ambient light sensor override.

They are available in four Lumen packages and are suitable for use in new fixtures by OEM light-fixture manufacturers and  are UL-certified as LED retrofit kits to upgrade incandescent or ballasted compact fluorescent or HID fixtures. New reporting features make it easier to access trends, alarms, audits and data for scheduling. Spaces authorization allows tenants to access the system and see only the data they need. The system has secure password management, as well as dormant user account reporting.

The tests used laminated SolarWindow modules and demonstrated that the system maintained its color and clarity, and that its module seal and electricity interconnection system remained intact.

The DVRH Retrofit Kit is designed to replace as much as 175-watt lamps and use high-intensity discharge bulbs of as much as 175 watts. The company is touting it as a solution for high ceilings, atriums and canopies that can be found in airports, convention centers, shopping malls and office buildings. It allows customers to retrofit 750-watt to more than 1,000-watt HID lighting systems as well as 10 to 14 Lamp T5 fluorescent lighting systems while reducing energy consumption by as much as 70 percent. The modular system features wireless networking and remote-control sensors, thermal management design that reduces fixture operating temperature to enhance performance, and LED chips and drivers paired with cooler operating luminaires.
