LA County Fire Department Expands at LA Corporate Center

The newly completed agreement brings the building's occupancy rate to 95 percent.

Los Angeles—The Los Angeles County Fire Department has inked an agreement that will expand the amount of space it holds at 1255 Corporate Drive in Monterrey Park, Calif. The tenant worked with full-service regional real estate firm Charles Dunn Co. to secure the leasing agreement. Landlord Los Angeles Corporate Center, which represented itself in the deal, agreed to a 10-year lease that is set to total $10.7 million.

Located at 1255 Corporate Center Drive, the four-story office building is part of the LA Corporate Center, a four-building campus that offers a total of roughly 394,000 square feet of office space. The Fire Department is expanding from its current 3,000-square-foot presence to about 37,000 square feet, nearly half of the available 79,000 rentable square feet that the building offers. This deal brings the asset’s occupancy rate to 95 percent. The facility offers tenants free parking facilities and features landscaped grounds.

The Charles Dunn Co. team that worked on the leasing agreement consisted of Linda Lee, Scott Unger and Bill Boyd from the company’s Tri-Cities office.
