Kilroy Enlists New Entertainment Industry Tenant for Columbia Square

Avison Young handled the leasing process on behalf of the new tenant.

Los Angeles—The race for creative office space continues in the Los Angeles metro. Virtual reality and 3D visual effects company Legend 3D is the latest tenant to sign on at Kilroy Realty Corp.’s 1500 N. El Centro Ave. office building. The leasing agreement was brokered on behalf of the tenant by Jacob Bobek and Aaron Wilder, both representatives of commercial real estate services firm Avison Young.

Part of the Columbia Square development, the office building offers a total of 365,000 square feet of space. Legend 3D will take over 27,000 square feet of space starting with December. The company will move about 100 employees to the new space, which will be dedicated to its post-production work, technology development projects and marketing duties. The property’s tenant roster also consists of Viacom (MTV and Comedy Central) and Fender Guitars. An integral part of the 4.7-acre Columbia Square mixed-use community, the office building offers amenities that include Sugarfish, Rubies and Diamonds Coffee, and Neuhouse.

Legend 3D has worked on projects for clients from the entertainment industry that include Lionsgate, Warner Brothers, Apple Music, Annapurna Pictures, Hulu and Tidal. The company offers services including virtual reality creative, production and post-production solutions. Most recently, the company worked on the new Ghostbusters remake.
