Kevin Aucello Joins CBRE Hotels as First Vice President

The group’s first vice president will focus on institutional hotel sales throughout Hawaii and the Pacific.

Honolulu–CBRE Group has appointed Kevin Aucello as the company’s first vice president. Based in Honolulu, Aucello will focus on institutional hotel sales throughout Hawaii and the Pacific.

Aucello is a high-performing commercial real estate professional with more than 30 years of experience in banking, commercial real estate and hotels. Throughout the course of his career, he has been involved in $2.5 billion of hotel transactions, management contracts, franchise agreements, valuations and consulting. Aucello will be a member of the CBRE Hotels’ institutional group and will report to Kevin Mallory, senior managing director & global head, CBRE Hotels, and Kimberly Lord, senior managing director for CBRE’s Hawaii Region.

“Kevin’s tremendous knowledge of the hotel market in Hawaii and the Pacific, combined with his outstanding relationships spanning several decades, will be instrumental to CBRE’s market share growth in hotel investment sales in the region,” Mallory said in prepared remarks. “We look forward to the significant contributions he will provide to our national platform.”

Aucello returns to CBRE after nine years during which time he worked as vice president of Colliers International Hotels, where he represented buyers and sellers of hospitality properties in the Pacific, which included Hawaii, Micronesia, Okinawa and Mexico. He also worked for Outrigger Enterprises Group, where he expanded the company’s brand and management platform in Hawaii, the Pacific and North America, and in lodging development for Marriott International.
