Kearny Appoints New VP of Acquisitions, Project Management
Steven Hillgren, who is joining the company’s Los Angeles office, adds nearly 10 years of real estate lending experience to Kearny’s roster.

Kearny Real Estate has hired Steven Hillgren as new vice president of acquisitions and project management. In the Los Angeles office, he will be responsible for acquiring and managing the firm’s projects throughout Southern California. The company specializes in acquisition development, as well as asset and property management of commercial real estate properties.
Hillgren brings close to a decade of real estate experience to the company. Prior to joining Kearny, he served as vice president of Wells Fargo in Los Angeles, where he sourced and underwrote commercial real estate loans. During his four years there, Hillgren originated and managed a portfolio of more than $1 billion. Earlier in his career, he also served as assistant vice president at Sunwest Bank.
Hillgren is a graduate of Georgetown University, holding a B.S. in Management. He is a member of the Young Professionals Group Leadership Committee, in the Southern California chapter of NAIOP.
