KBS Signs 60 KSF Leases at CA Office Park

The landlord bolstered The Towers at Emeryville's notable tenant roster with the addition of two law firms and a software company.

KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III has inked 61,181 square feet in leases with existing and new tenants at The Towers at Emeryville, a three-building, Class A office park in the San Francisco Bay. New additions include law firms Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass, Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Torrijos and software company Innovative Interfaces.

The buildings are located at 1900, 2000 and 2200 Powell St. in Emeryville, Calif., at a 15-minute drive northeast of downtown San Francisco. The 815,018-square-foot shoreline property provides easy access via interstates 80, 880, 580 and 980. The office park is also close to retail and entertainment options such as the Powell Street Shopping Center. Current on-site amenities include:

  • new tenant lounge and conference center
  • café and bakery
  • full-service bank
  • dry cleaners
  • car wash
  • fitness center with bocce ball and basketball courts

John Abel of The Axiant Group represented Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass, Craig Miller of Stone-Miller worked on behalf of Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Torrijos and Jay Seiden of Cushman & Wakefield represented Innovative Interfaces in the transactions.

In a recent deal, KBS REIT III signed a 21,924-square-foot office lease with BPM, an accounting and consulting firm, 10 Almaden in San Jose, Calif. The property located is LEED Gold certified.
