Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate solutions group has scored another global client. It has been named the exclusive real estate services advisor for United Kingdom-based Logica’s worldwide property portfolio.

The appointment comes two months after JLL’s corporate solutions team reached an agreement with Proctor & Gamble to extend its eight-year relationship another five years. Earlier this year, the group also received contracts to provide global services for Volvo and GlaxoSmithKline.

Under the latest appointment, Jones Lang LaSalle will provide account management, transactions, space planning, strategy and database management services on a global basis and will also assist Logica in its continued expansion. Logica is a leading business consulting and technology company employing about 41,000 people. The company, which has its headquarters in Reading in the U.K., has offices around the world, including three in the United States –in Houston, which is the site of its U.S. headquarters, New York City and Waltham, Mass.

“We are impressed with the scale of Jones Lang LaSalle’s global network and their client-centric approach to real estate,” said Mark Tamburro, Logica’s vice president of procurement and real estate. “We very much look forward to working with them to deliver measurable results back to our shareholders.”

Shelley Frost, director, corporate solutions United Kingdom for Jones Lang LaSalle, said the Logica deal was an expansion of a long-term local partnership into a global outsourcing relationship.

“Jones Lang LaSalle will be advising Logica on its real estate around the world, including its U.S. locations, with our primary team operating from the U.K., where the firm is headquartered,” Frost told Commercial Property Executive. “The firm’s forward-looking real estate strategy is confidential at this time, so we cannot comment on future expansion.”

Vincent Lottefier, CEO, corporate solutions EMEA, Jones Lang LaSalle, said the Logica contract, “underscores the continued expansion of our Corporate Solutions function across Europe, Middle East and Africa and will enable the development of robust solutions for corporates seeking productivity and change.”

JLL’s corporate solutions group helps corporations improve cost, efficiency and performance of their national, regional or global real estate portfolios by creating outsourcing partnerships to manage and execute a range of occupier services. Jones Lang LaSalle serves clients in 70 countries from more than 1,000 locations, including 200 corporate offices. The firm has a portfolio of about 2.1 billion square feet worldwide.

The corporate solutions group’s contract with P&G calls for JLL to provide integrated facility management, project development, construction management and strategic occupancy planning services for P&G owned and leased corporate facilities. P&G’s portfolio includes several million square feet of offices and technical facilities in more than 60 countries in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Under the Volvo deal, the JLL team will offer advice on searches, negotiations, disposals, valuations, sales and acquisitions in countries including Belgium, Sweden, the U.K. North America and Japan.
