After successfully landing the exclusive leasing and management contract for Miami’s One Brickell Square, Jones Lang LaSalle has also been selected as the exclusive broker for 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza. As of October 31, the global real estate firm, by means of a leasing team led by Glenn H. Gregory, senior vice-president of JLL’s Miami office, will be working directly with owner Foram Group to assist the firm in marketing and leasing the Class A+ office tower.

600 Brickell, designed by global architecture firm RTKL, features a 30,000-square-foot ground-level plaza and public gathering place on top of the 600,000-square-foot rentable office space. The building offers sophisticated features, having both public and secured WiFi and direct access to the Internet backbone through underground fiber-optic connections linking directly to the NAP (Network Access Point) of the Americas.

Designed to minimize its carbon footprint, 600 Brickell is also the only major office building in Florida that has been pre-certified as LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council.

This announcement follows one made by JLL at the beginning of the month, when the global real estate firm was appointed as the exclusive leasing agent and property manager of two other South Florida Class A office properties: Miami’s One Brickell Square and Cypress Park West—a property in Fort Lauderdale consisting of two Class A office buildings. With the 28-story One Brickell Square alone, JLL added 145,000 square feet of office space to its portfolio of assets under management, while the Cypress Park West added another 229,000 square feet. Jones Lang LaSalle’s Jonathan Kingsley, senior vice president, and Stephen Rutchik, senior vice president, are leading the leasing assignments for the two properties and Karyn Weiss, general manager, is leading the property management assignments.
