JLL has named Kimarie Ankenbrand head of the company’s Raleigh-Durham, N.C., office, where she will lead overall business development and strategy as managing director. Ankenbrand, who specializes in tenant representation, relocated from Dallas and will continue to represent corporate office users in her new role.

Ankenbrand brings more than a decade of industry experience to the position—she has been with JLL and its predecessor companies for almost 14 years, beginning her real estate career as an analyst with The Staubach Co. JLL acquired the company in 2008 when Ankenbrand became vice president and part of the national brokerage team. She later served as senior vice president of the office tenant representation group.

Conference USA, Service King Collison repair and Medieval Times are among Ankenbrand’s notable clients. She represents a wide array of tenants in the Dallas market—one of the largest deals was facilitating Samsung’s 216,000-square-foot relocation to Legacy Central in Plano, Texas.

“She brings a sophisticated understanding of our business and exceptional leadership skills to this role,” Chase Monroe, JLL Carolinas market director, said in prepared remarks.

Ankenbrand holds a master’s degree in finance and an undergraduate accounting degree from Texas A&M University. She is a member of JLL’s Women’s Business Network, Leadership Counsel Advisory Board, Diversity & Inclusion Markets Charter and Mentor/Protégé 2018 Class.
