JLL Announces Two Promotions in Philadelphia

Philadelphia—JLL has announced two leadership changes in the Philadelphia market: Mike Morrone is now leading the Office Brokerage Group and Tom Weitzel has taken on the role of managing director. The promotions of Morrone and Weitzel, who have each been with JLL for nine years, will take effect immediately.

Managing Director Mike Morrone most recently led JLL’s suburban office business with a focus on tenant and landlord representation, as well as integrated portfolio services. As managing director and lead broker for the Philadelphia suburban market, Morrone has been directly responsible for overall product quality and delivery across all business lines. Prior to JLL, Morrone served as executive vice president & account manager for multiple client accounts at UGL Equis. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University and has successfully completed a commercial credit training program through Wachovia Bank.

Weitzel began his career in 2007 with The Staubach Co. and joined Jones Lang LaSalle following the merger of the two companies. At JLL, Weitzel has focused on helping tenants minimize costs and optimize efficiency in an ever-changing workplace and economic environment. Since 2007, he has completed over 350 transactions, which represent more than 5,000,000 square feet within the Philadelphia market. Weitzel graduated summa cum laude while receiving his degree in finance from Arizona State University in 2003.
