Jessica Murray Joins The Walsh Group in Chicago

Meet The Walsh Group’s new Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.

After 16 years with Skanska USA, Jessica Murray joined The Walsh Group as vice president of strategic initiatives.

In her new role, Murray will be responsible for developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives within one of the largest private companies in America, as listed by Forbes Magazine. In addition, Murray will also map out and perfect win-strategies for key clients and pursuits in Walsh’s Building Division.

“Her successful background and experience is an essential asset to our team as we continue to ensure long-term growth through strategic vision and action,” Michael Whelan, president of the Building Division, said.

Prior to joining The Walsh Group, Jessica Murray spent the last 16 years working at Skanska USA. During her time working for the Swedish company, Murray served as head of external affairs for the Infrastructure Development group, and previously as senior director of communications for Skanska USA.

Murray holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and is a board member of the Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure (AIAI) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
