JBG Cos. has signed three new retailers for one of its mixed-use communities currently under development on Rockville Pike.

Pie 360, Dunkin Donuts and Floyd’s 99 Barbershop will open new locations at Galvan at Twinbrook, which is scheduled to open later this year at 1801 Chapman Ave. The mixed-use community will offer 356 one- and two-bedroom apartments above 100,000 square feet of retail space.

Pie 360, a build-your-own pizza concept launched by Coal Fire, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, a national barbershop chain, and the famous Dunkin Donuts will join Galvan’s list of existing tenants, including Ethan Allen Design Center, Safeway, Capriotti’s and Smashburger. Ethan Allen Design Center and Safeway are the community’s two anchors, with the latter occupying 63,000 square feet of space.

Galvan at Twinbrook is part of JBG’s 30-acre, neighborhood-level development strategy surrounding the Twinbrook Metro station, where the Chevy Chase-based company has delivered or is currently putting the finishing touches on other mixed-use communities, including the 279-unit Alaire and the 214-unit Terano. JBG’s development plan earned LEED Gold Certification for Neighborhood Development, making it the first LEED-ND plan in the Washington region. Once complete, the Twinbrook community will consist of about three million square feet of mixed-used space.
