The average price per square foot for all property types came to $207,000 in the second quarter of 2017, with CBD Office commanding the highest value at $397,000. However, the price per square foot for this category decreased on a year-over-year basis by 8.1 percent. Compared to the second quarter of 2016, Suburban Office properties ranked among the top with an increase of 11.7 percent, followed by Garden Apartment properties (4.7 percent) and Industrial properties (4.2 percent). The price per square foot for Retail properties went down by 16 percent, or $36, on a year-over-year basis.
