Salt Lake City– Local investors and residents are working to turn the phrase “Silicon Slopes” into reality. The latest player to break ground in the area is InMoment, a cloud-based customer experience company. The company is developing its new headquarters as part of an Urban Transit Oriented Development project in South Jordan, Utah.

Currently under construction at 10300 S. Jordan Gateway, the global headquarters will allow the company to source talent from both the Salt Lake City and Ogden tech corridors. InMoment will support the company’s expansion plan as it increases its payroll. The company does CX optimization technology for clients such as Nike, Tiffany, General Motors, Chrysler and Comcast.

The transit-oriented development at SoJo Station is slated for completion towards the end of next year. InMoment will move to one of the two six-story office buildings, each totaling 180,000 square feet of space. The project will also include a 192-key Embassy Suites hotel, as well as a restaurant and a parking structure. Anchored by the South Jordan FrontRunner Station located nearby, the project is meant to capitalize on the sudden rise of the area’s tech industry and startup-happy environment.

Originally operating as Mindshare Technologies, InMoment was founded 14 years ago by current CEO John Sperry. Sperry was recently named CEO of the Year by Utah Business Magazine.
