Industry Veteran Joins NKF

As executive managing director, Jeff Schotz will lead Newmark Knight Frank’s New Jersey Agency Services team, and will report to David Simson.

Newmark Knight Frank has appointed Jeff Schotz as executive managing director of the company’s Rutherford, N.J. office. The industry veteran will lead the Agency Services team and will report to Vice Chairman David Simson.

Over the course of his career, Schotz has been involved in the leasing of more than 30 million square feet of office space to several premier corporations, including Microsoft, CBS, Pepsi-Cola, Mutual of New York, JP Morgan Chase, Citicorp, Linde, British Telecom, Newell Brands and Ernst & Young.

Before joining NKF, Schotz held the position of executive vice president at SJP Properties. His duties included overseeing the leasing and marketing activities of the company’s portfolio of class A office buildings and properties in New York City and suburban New Jersey. He also coordinated the marketing efforts for the company’s corporate brand. Prior to SJP, Schotz was a partner at The Mack Co., where he led leasing and marketing, and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, where he began his career.

Schotz is a member of several real estate organizations, including the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association, the CoreNet Global New Jersey Chapter and the Building Owners and Managers Association. He is also a member of the NAIOP New Jersey Hall of Fame.
