Hilton Norfolk The Main Welcomes First Guests

The 21-story, 300-key downtown hotel features four dining experiences, meeting space, a ballroom, a fitness center, a business center, a 24-hour pavilion pantry market and an indoor pool.

Hilton Norfolk The Main, located at 100 E. Main St. in Norfolk, Va., has opened its doors. Owned by Gold Key | PHR, the 21-story building features a glass curtain wall and a 100-foot tall ground floor atrium.

The 300-key hotel offers four dining experiences: Saltine, Grain, Varia and Fruitive; 50,000 square feet of high-tech meeting space among 39 rooms; an 18,500-square-foot ballroom that accommodates 2,200 seated guests; a fitness center; a business center; a 24-hour pavilion pantry market and an indoor pool. Guests can also become Executive Club members, which allows them to use of the private lounge with complimentary breakfast and access to staff 24 hours a day.

Guests will have easy access to Norfolk’s biggest attractions including Nauticus Maritime Museum, Slover Library, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Half Moone Cruise Center, MacArthur Center, City Center, Chrysler Museum of Art, Town Point Park, The Norva, Waterside District, Norfolk Scope, Harbor Park and more.

“Hilton Norfolk The Main is a transitional moment for Norfolk, filling a void in the downtown scene offering both locals and visitors a comprehensive hospitality experience,” said Gold Key | PHR CEO Bruce Thompson, in prepared remarks. “It was important to me, as a Norfolk native, to create a cultural destination in downtown, one that excites visitors to our great city.”
