Miami–Colliers International South Florida announced that the company has been given the leasing assignment for Sample Row Shopping Center and Oaktree Plaza, two South Florida retail centers.

Both properties are owned by Argentina-based Iberic Malls LLC. Honey Bryan, senior vice president with Colliers, was tasked to handle leasing for both properties which include the 105,000-square-foot Sample Row Shopping Center in Coral Springs, and the 23,745-square-foot Oaktree Plaza in North Palm Beach.

Sample Row Shopping Center is situated directly on West Sample Road, a major east-west thoroughfare in Broward County. Its current tenants include DaVita Dialysis, Perli Lichi Design Studio, Patio Shoppe, Creative Kitchens and Beautiful Things Lighting. The property is also in close proximity to major national retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Home Depot, HomeGoods and more.

Oaktree Plaza is situated on U.S. Highway 1 North and PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach County, and has a mix of national and local tenants, including Dunkin’ Donuts, Allstate and Pizza Bella. The property is directly across from a Publix-anchored shopping center that has a Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, Stein Mart and Bonefish Grill.

Both properties are well positioned in high-traffic retail corridors and “vibrant areas where there is high demand for space from local and national tenants,” said Bryan. The retail centers experience seasonal and year-round activity with traffic counts of around 50,000 cars per day.

Available spaces in Sample Row Shopping Center range from 1,300 to over 10,000 square feet, while Oaktree Plaza’s available spaces range from 600 to 1,100-square-feet.

“The South Florida retail market is seeing an influx of new capital from foreign investors, who are upgrading older properties and building upon the market’s existing strength [and] these properties are an excellent example of that,” said Ken Krasnow, executive managing director & market leader for Colliers International South Florida.
