Helmsley Spear Hires New VP
Brett Zelner, who brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience to his new role, will lead the company’s leasing operations.
Helmsley Spear has selected Brett Zelner as its newest vice president and associate broker. In this role, he will handle commercial office and retail leasing operations for the firm’s New York portfolio.
Zellner has more than 35 years of transactional experience in the commercial real estate field. Prior to joining the company, he served as executive managing director at Lee & Associates in New York City. He was executive managing director at Lansco Corp. for 29 years, between 1984 and 2013.
Zelner received his BA from Boston University. He is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
“His vast experience in office and retail leasing, along with commercial asset sales and acquisitions, will be of great value to Helmsley Spear’s expanding business,” Helmsley Spear Executive Vice President Andrew Simon said in a prepared statement.
