Heartbreak Hotel Gets Classy Neighbor in Memphis, Reservations Open

The Guest House, already taking reservations for October 2016-February 2017, is the most important development within the Graceland area since the major tourist attraction opened to the public in June 1982.

Memphis, Tenn.—Elvis Presley Enterprises, the company that acquired the rights to Elvis Presley in 2013, recently announced new details regarding the 450-key Guest House at Graceland, which is slated for opening this fall.

Announced in 2014, The Guest House at Graceland is the most important development on Elvis Presley’s estate since the major Memphis, Tenn. tourist attraction opened to the public in June 1982. Memphis-based brand DreamCatcher Hotels is in charge of overseeing the development and managing the Graceland-inspired design.

Constructed just steps away from The King’s iconic Graceland Mansion and advertised as a full-service, world-class resort, the new Elvis-themed establishment, will feature 19 VIP suites with designs supervised by Priscilla Presley, two restaurants, spaces for meetings and special events and a 464-seat theater.

Other amenities and services will include a large outside pool and pool bar, special areas for both corporate events and weddings or family reunions for up to 1,000 people, green space with capabilities for a 400-person events tent, shuttles to downtown Memphis, room service, concierge service, and complimentary airport shuttle rides.

The hotel is already taking reservations for dates starting with the four-day grand opening, October 27-30, 2016, all throughout February. Available dates include the winter holidays and the 2017 Elvis Birthday Celebration weekend.
