San Antonio—Bulverde, Texas, a city situated 27 miles north of San Antonio, is ready to welcome its first premium hotel with Presidian’s groundbreaking ceremony of a new Hampton Inn by Hilton and Bulverde Visitors & Convention Center in the Singing Hills development. The new Hampton hotel will be part of the Hilton Worldwide global brand of more than 2,100 Hampton by Hilton properties around the world.

The hotel will be located less than 13 miles north of Loop 1604 at the intersection of US Highway 281 and State Highway 46 between New Braunfels and Boerne.

“Our vision was to design a premium hotel that maximizes the property’s extraordinary positioning at the confluence of two major central-Texas thoroughfares at the most visible site in the beautiful Singing Hills master development. We could not be more excited to have the Bulverde Visitors & Convention Center co-locating with us to create a place where the community and visitors can meet, stay and celebrate in the beautiful hill-country of Bulverde,” said Charles Leddy, CEO of Presidian Hotels and Resorts.

The four-story, 84-room Hampton Inn by Hilton will be part of Hampton’s new Forever Young design initiative, which features a multi-functional modern guest space. Adjacent to Hampton Inn by Hilton will be the Bulverde Visitors & Convention Center with 5,300 square feet of meeting, office and prefunction space. Around 30 employees will work at the facility.

“We are thrilled to be working with Presidian Hotels and Hilton Hotels on this exciting project. With the growing demand in the area and success of the Singing Hills development, the Hampton Inn by Hilton and Bulverde Visitors & Convention Center will be the perfect location for leisure and business travelers alike. The city will benefit from additional revenue through municipal hotel occupancy tax dollars, and the hotel will add value to the visitors and new businesses moving to this area,” said Sherry Mosier, president of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation.

“The new Hampton Inn by Hilton is a major boost to Bulverde’s economic development efforts and supports our commitment to the GVTC GigaRegion® partnership and the Bulverde/Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation, to create jobs and higher quality of life for our community,” said E.A. Hoppe, Bulverde City manager. “We feel the addition of a leading brand such as the Hampton Inn creates important awareness that Bulverde is a smart place to operate a business.”

The Hampton Inn by Hilton and Bulverde Visitors & Convention Center will feature multiple outdoor green spaces, comfortable furnishings, LCD TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, compact lighting, clock radio, telephone with faceplate and power unit. Furthermore, guests will be provided with a free breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center, outdoor swimming pool and fitness center.

The project manager in the development is Troy Malish, president of NHouse Group. Completion is planned for August 2017.
